FAQs
Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey typically retails from €28 to €38 for a standard 70cl bottle. Powers Three Swallow, a pot still expression, sits between €38 and €48. Powers John's Lane Release, the premium aged pot still expression from Midleton, commands approximately €70 to €90 depending on availability. As one of Ireland's most historically significant whiskey brands, the Powers range represents excellent value for the quality of single pot still whiskey it delivers at every tier.
Powers Irish Whiskey is produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. The brand was established by John Power and Son at the John's Lane Distillery in Dublin in 1791. Production moved to Midleton in 1975 when the old Dublin distilleries consolidated. Powers is one of Ireland's most historically significant whiskey brands and the Three Swallow and John's Lane expressions represent some of the finest single pot still Irish whiskey produced at Midleton.
